The light brown concrete facility stands at two stories tall and is surprisingly well kept. You see a myriad of people through the multiple windows, all in high quality suits and high spirits. This is also one of the few buildings
|
|
that doesn't have some amount of damage.
|
|
|
|
Inside is as clean and well kept as the outside. Tile floors, white walls with framed pictures of plants & people you could easily assume are important to the building, and a quaint lobby area with two couchs and four chairs surrounding a coffee table.
|
|
|
|
In one of those chairs, you spot a familiar face: Anais, the sheep woman from your meeting with Akarui. She is flipping through several folders of paper lying on the coffee table, and is chewing on her metal pen cap every few moments. And she looks stressed.
|
|
|
|
*APPROACH*
|
|
Anais doesn't even notice you're there at first, but she eventually puts the paers down with a heavy sigh, and looks up to your group, like she knew you were there the whole time. "Thanks for not interrupting me... is there something I can help you with?"
|
|
|
|
*WHY ARE YOU HERE*
|
|
"I'm a realtor. The HOA isn't exactly a paying gig, ya know."
|
|
|
|
*WHY SO STRESSED*
|
|
She stands up and drops the folders into a pile onto the table. "You know what THESE are? These are noise complaints within the Gated community over the last month alone. Which wouldn't even BE an issue if the King would just take my idea of a sound ordinance seriously. But NOPE, he won't even give me a chance."
|
|
|
|
She stands and walks around in frustration. "I have fantastic and simple ideas for fixing alot of the housing & money issues in Diadem. Sound ordinances after a set time, color restrictions for colors to paint your house and fence, basic yard cleanliness standards... it's not that hard to keep things running."
|
|
|
|
She flops back down into her seat. "And if it's not the King, it's the realtor board. They won't take my vetting proposal seriously. All I want is a simple process of putting certain people in certain homes based on specific criteria, so the right people end up in the right neighborhood!"
|
|
|
|
"But NOOO, we have to allow grocery store workers and fast food workers to buy Gated Community homes, knowing full well they won't survive a year in there financially. And then, when they SOMEHOW abandon the place and owe three months of back rent, it's somehow MY fault!"
|
|
|
|
*ITS NOT A RACE OR SPECIES THING?*
|
|
"Of course not. I'm an economist, not a bigot."
|

|

|
- Apartments have 2 bed 1 bath max and go for 250z a month
|
|
|
|
- Houses have max 4 bed and 2 bath, and go for 500z a month
|
|
|
|
- Gated residences have as many bed & bath as needed and go for 1,000z a month
|
